Microsoft closes Live Messenger service!
According to IT sources, Microsoft intends to terminate the Live Messenger service as part of the restructuring carried out by the U.S. company to fit its new policy.
The site The Verge on responsibility from sources inside Microsoft that the company will abandon Messenger in order to provide greater support for the service Skype.
Microsoft had acquired the online communication service Skype amount estimated at $ 8.5 billion, in May of last year.
The sources confirmed the decision to abandon the service and Windows Live Messenger soon, without clarification whether Messenger users will be able to use Skype directly without the need to register a new account or not, although Skype 6.0 supports access Facebook account or Microsoft.
